Resident of Windsor for 42 Years Dies

Henry Fritzler, 70, resident of the Windsor community for 42 years, died in Weld County General hospital Monday evening.

Born in Grimm, Russia on Jan. 19, 1883, Mr. Fritzler married Molly Schneider there on Jan. 28, 1905. They would have celebrated their golden anniversary next year. The Fritzlers came to this country in 1912, locating to Windsor where he farmed until 1943. He retired then and they moved into town buying the place at 101 Locust. They have since made their home there.

Survivors, at the time of his obit [all are now deceased], are his wife and the following children: Gus of San Francisco, Henry of Greeley, Mrs. Anna Weber of La Mesa, Calif., Carl H. of Eaton, Mrs. Mollie Wilson of Cheyenne, Mary Fritzler, a patient at Colorado State hospital at Pueblo, Mrs. Freda Asmus of Lakeside, Calif., Mrs. Alma Schlothauer of Windsor, Mrs. Esther Friend of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Eleanor Shewmaker of Denver and Edward H. of Eaton; also 22 grandchildren and six brothers and sisters who are: Fred of Fort Collins, Jake and Carl of Windsor, Mrs. Mollie Brunkhart of Sterling, Mrs. Mary Fritzler of Fort Collins, and Mrs. Margaret Albrandt of California.

Time of the funeral will be set upon the arrival of the oldest son, Gus. Services will be held at Bethel Lutheran church of Windsor with burial in Lakeview cemetery.--Greeley Daily Tribune (Greeley, Colorado) Feb. 9, 1954
