FORMER ARCOLA MAN DIES IN CHAMPAIGN

Arcola, Ill., Sept. 10. — Paul Ludolph of Urbana, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Ludolph of Arcola, died about 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Burnham Hospital in Champaign, following an emergency operation for appendicitis.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday from St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church in Arcola, with burial in the Arcola cemetery.

Mr. Ludolph was born in Arcola Dec. 2, 1905, being the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Ludolph. He was graduated from Arcola High School and the University of Illinois. For the past three years he had been teaching at the university. He married Miss Louise Tay of Bourbon about three years ago, the couple making their home in Urbana after the marriage.

He leaves his widow, his parents, two sisters, Miss Edna Ludolph of Arcola, Miss Margaret Ludolph of Chicago and a brother, Carl, in California.
