Jake Schmunk, 87, of Greeley, Colorado, died May 11, 1994.
He was born July 12, 1906 in Fort Collins, to George and Eva (Martin) Schmunk.
He grew up and attended schools in Fort Collins. He moved to Milwaukee during the depression.
On July 3, 1926, he married Mollie Schultz in Milwaukee.
After his marriage, he and his wife moved to Colorado and farmed all of their married lives in Larimer and Weld counties, until their retirement.
He was a member of St John's United Church of Christ.
He is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Printz and Beverly McConville both of Greeley; two sons, Melvin and Ronald both of Eaton; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie, on July 15, 1993; one son, Donald; four sisters; and two brothers.
Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
