Mrs. Troendle, 54, Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Emma Anna Troendle, 54, of 1611 N. Salina st. died yesterday at Crouse-Irving hospital, where she had been a patient 12 days. A native of Syracuse, she was a life long resident of the north side.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph A. Troendle; two daughters, Mrs. Stephen Nodzo of Mattydale, and Miss Clarabelle Troendle; three sons, PFC. Joseph E. Troendle of Phoenix, Ariz., Pvt. Robert E. Troendle, and Normand Troendle; four sisters, Mrs. A. Grimsley of Fairmount, Mrs. Mary Hahn and Mrs. Lewis Wilder of Baldwinsville and Mrs. Charles Harroun of Warners; four brothers, Fred Hopp of Syracuse, William Hopp of Liverpool, Walter Hopp of Amboy, and Carl Hopp of Fairmount; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Keegan & Osbelt funeral home, 900 N. Salina st., and at 2:30 p.m. in Friedens Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. Warner H. Siebert will officiate and burial will be in Assumption cemetery. Friends and members of the Willing Helpers society are invited.
