Robert E. Troendle, 84, of 941 Wadsworth St., Syracuse, died Wednesday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was born in Syracuse. He retired from Onondaga Oil Co. and formerly worked for Sawmiller Fuel Co. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: His wife of 32 years, the former Shirley Williams; two daughters, Robin T. Mathers and Karen Gass, both of Syracuse; a sister, Clarabelle Troendle of Mattydale; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home. Burial Sunset Chapel of Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1217 N. Salina St., Syracuse.
