Mrs. Blanche Walp Dinkelacker, age, 88, a former Drums resident, died early Saturday morning at the Nottingham Nursing Home, Northumberland.
Born in Drums, she was the daughter of the late William and Nora E. (Snyder) Walp. She spent her entire life in the Drums area before relocating to the nursing home 6 1/2 years ago.
She was the oldest member of St. John's United Church of Christ, and was also a member of the Del Duce Bible Class and the Women's Guild of the church, and a former member of the Order of the eastern Star.
Her husband, Paul, died in 1944.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Norma Gearhart, Selinsgrove, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home Inc, with the Rev David Kirk, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, conducting the services. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 10 am until time of services.
