of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the age of 78, while under loving care at her daughter's home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Ernie Stone; six children, Denise Miller-Hicks, Dennis Miller, Lorraine Brewer, Bradford Miller, Sherrie Stone and Allan Stone; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Miller. She was one of twelve children born to William and Arta Greene in Kentucky. She graduated from Jackson High School, with Honors. She was executive housekeeper for many years at the Sheraton Hotel downtown Jackson. She was a proud hardworking homemaker. She had a strong faith in the Lord; touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed. Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rod Walker officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Munith Cemetery.
