Believed to be buried on farm near Germanna Colony. No marker.

Name is read as Weaver and Weber.
Known as Peter and Teter Weaver.

Mathias Weaver was born between 1732-34 and married Eizabeth Finks born in 1755-56.
From this union came ten children.
Mathias is said to have been drafted into the Culpeper Minute Men in 1781 (have been unable to confirm).
Mathias left a will (Will Book "H", page 277).

Peter Weaver, Jr., brother of Mathias Weaver, was a PVT in the militia called the Culpeper Minute Men of Culpeper County, Virgina (SAR).
John Marshall, future Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, was an officer in this unit.

NOTES
Peter (Hans Dieterich) Weaver purchased his first land in Virginia from William Rush in 1734.
In 1735 he obtained a 400 acre land grant near the Robinson River.
This land record listed his name as Peter Weaver.
He purchased land from George Moyer in 1746.
Peter was appointed guardian of Michael Clore in 1751. [Source: Note_1303 in a series on the Germanna Colonies] Peter was married to Elizabeth (some say Louisa Elizabeth Volck, verification is necessary) and from this union came eight children.

Peter Weaver's will was probated at Brumfield Parish, Culpeper, VA, August 18, 1763. [Source: Library of Virginia, Will Book A, 1749-1770]
Listed in this will are his wife Elizabeth; all their son's and daughter's: John Weaver, Mathias Weaver, Peter Weaver, Barbara Carpenter, Elizabeth Christler, Margaret Weaver, Catharine Weaver, and Hannah Weaver. His sons John and Mathias were named executors.

Excerpts: First, I commend my soul to God that gave it wishing and surely believing that through the merits of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full remission and forgiveness of all my sins, my body I commit to the earth....I give to my beloved wife Elizabeth Weaver my houses and plantation and all the remainder of my estate whatsoever, that is to say, negroes, horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, household goods of all sorts....
