Rhiney H. Foose, 50, 330 E 18th St., died Friday, April 16 in the Presbyterian Medical Center at Denver.
He owned and operated the East Side Public Meat market for 20 years.
Born July 22, 1925, at Greeley, he lived here all his life with the exception of his service with the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He married Helen L. Alles on Feb. 24, 1946, at Greeley. He was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church, Greeley Elks Lodge No. 809 and Greeley Moose Lodge No. 909.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; three sons, a daughter; two half-sisters, Mrs. Martha Greenwood of Greeley, and Mrs. Mollie Goldert of Loveland; four half-brothers, Jack and Samuel Hoffner, both of Quincy, Wash., David Hoffner of Brewster, Kan., and Alec Hoffner of Basin, Wyo., and 3 grandchildren.
