Helen Soyka Risku, 77, of West Newton (Collinsburg), died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital. Mrs. Risku was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Collinsburg, the daughter of the late John and Julia Nichols Soyka. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Risku in 1968. She is survived by five children, John William (Bill) Risku of Elizabeth, Regis Risku of Collinsburg, Carol Boyd of Fellsburg and Susan Keefer and Sandra Calcagni, both of West Newton; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. in the J. William McCauley Funeral Home Inc., West Newton, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael A. Milinovich officiating.
