Henry A. Nietfeld 86, Marysville, native of Germany, died Friday October 12, 1973 at Community Memorial Hospital.
Henry was born July 28, 1887, at Dinklage, Oldenberg, Germany.
Parents were Herman & Maria Nietfeld of Germany.
Henry came to the United States as a young man.
Henry farmed southwest of Marysville, until he retired, but continued to make his home on the farm.
Henry was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers Herman, John, Germany. Joe, Frank Marysville, & 4 sisters in Germany.
Survivors include Aloys Nietfeld, Marysville, 2 sisters, Mrs. Theresa Bussmann, Miss Maria Nietfeld, both of Dinklage, Oldenburg, Germany & nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers were Richard Nietfeld, Mike Wetter, Joe Wetter, jr., Joe Nietfeld, Frederick Nietfeld, & Jerome Nietfeld, all great nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 a.m. from St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
Rosary was recited Sunday evening at the Kinsley Chapel. Father Harrington officiated at the service. Burial was in the St. Gregory's cemetery.
