Aloys was born in Dinklage,Oldenburg, Germany to Herman Nietfeld & Marie Deberding on Oct. 14, 1895. Aloys came to Kansas in 1923. Aloys went to work in Detroit, Michigan to work for Ford Motor Co. for 20 yrs. Aloys retired to his farm North East of Marysville & later moved to Marysville. The past 2 1/2 yrs he had lived in the Mary Marshall Manor.
Aloys served in the German Army during WW11. He was a member of the St. Gregory's Church. Aloys never married.
Funeral services for Aloys 84, were conducted last Thursday at 10a.m. from St. Gregory's Church with the Rev. Frank Horvat officiating . He died at the Mary Marshall Manor on May 19.
Servers for the mass were Frank, Tony, Steve Nietfeld great nephews. Music at the service was the adult choir at St. Gregory's. Rosemary Forst, organist.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Herman and John in Germany. Joseph & Frank of Marysville. 4 sisters in Germany.
Survivors are two sisters Mrs. Theresa Bussmann, Miss Maria Nietfeld both of Germany, sister in law Ida Nietfeld, Marysville, & nieces & nephews.
Burial was in the St. Gregory's cemetery arrangements by Kinsley.
