SERVICE AT ST. CLOUD PLANNED ON MONDAY; SURVIVORS LISTED
Mrs. Mary Steffen, 89, died at 4 a. m. today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Peter Gilles, Mount Calvary, R. 1, w2here she had been residing the last two weeks.
She was born Aug. 26, 1876, in Boden, Germany, the daughter of Adolph and Barbara Krug Dittter. She was married to Mr. Steffen Feb. 2, 1898 in St. Joe and they farmed in that area retiring in 1933. She was a member of the St. Cloud Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St. Francis.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1938, a son and a grandchild.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lisowe Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and 10 a.m. at St. Cloud Catholic Church, Rev. Roman Stoffel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
