A woman severely injured in December in a multiple-vehicle crash on River Watch Parkway died this morning.

Amelia Hiltz, 33, was one of several victims injured when, according to sheriff's investigators and witnesses, Monique Sullivan drove the wrong way on the parkway at high speed the afternoon of Dec. 10.

Hiltz died at University Hospital at 7:30 a.m. today from complications, according to Richmond County Coroner Grover Tuten. Hiltz was married and the mother of two small children.

Sullivan, 35, has been indicted on felony charges including five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of vehicular injury, cruelty to children and several traffic violations.

District Attorney Ashley Wright said by e-mail that "I don't comment on pending cases, (but) I can tell you that it is important that the charges reflect the evidence and can be updated to reflect changes."

Sullivan, who is free on bond pending trial in Richmond County Superior Court, is scheduled for trial before Judge J. David Roper on Aug. 19.
