Elizabeth was born October 19, 1871, just three months after the death of her grandmother, Caroline Catharina Rapp, so it must have been a stressful time for her father. He was Charles F. Rapp 1846-1922, and her mother was Lena Miller Rapp 1848-1908 who were married July 15, 1869 in Minonk, Illinois. I believe they had the following children along with two who must have died in infancy.

Elizabeth married William H Schaumburg on October 3, 1891, in Iroquois, Illinois. I believe they had 12 children. She died on January 24, 1923, in Milford, Illinois, at the age of 51.
