BUFFALO, WY. --- Memorial graveside services for Dorathea M. Braum, 82, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine, MT., with Rev. Nars Palomar of Pilgrim Congregational Church of Worden, MT., officiating.

Mrs. Baum died on may 17, 1989, at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, WY.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1906, in Greenleaf, KS., to Edwin and Ann McMullin.

When she was a child, the family moved to Montana and she was reared and educated in the Billings area.
She attended Western Montana College in Dillon and received her teaching certification.

She taught in a rural school in Musselshell County, MT., for one term.

On Feb. 5, 1927, she married Conrad W. Baum in Musselshell, MT.
They lived at Huntley Project, MT., where her husband taught from 1927 to 1932.

They lived in various areas of Montana where her husband was a teacher and later superintendent of Schools.

They moved to Buffalo, WY., in 1960 where her husband was superintendent of schools until 1968, when he retired.

She had lived at the Amie Holt Care Center for the past six years.

She was a Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Roundup. MT., and also was a member of the Union Congregational Church, and was active in the Women's Fellowship.
She enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her husband of Buffalo, she is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Brees of Great Falls, MT., and Shirley C. Jones of Bellevue, WA.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials to the Annie Holt Care Center in care of the Adams Funeral Home would be appreciated.

Cremation will take place in Billings, MT.
