Daughter of William Walker, and Mary Anna Quinlan. Father was Staffordshire (London), England native and mother was Tipperary Irish born. Both parents are buried in Assumption Cemetery, Willow Springs Township, Lafayette County, Wisconsin.

Edith married Jacob Gully in De Smet, Dakota Territory and they birthed 8 children between the years 1884-1902.
