The Bismarck Tribune, ND - 11 January 1980:

HEBRON - Magdalena Lutz, 90, Hebron died Thursday at a Dickinson nursing home. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church at Hebron.

She was born Magdalena Staiger, July 10, 1889, in Russia and came with her parents to the Hebron area in 1910. She married Adolph Heinle, June 10, 1910, and they homesteaded southeast of Hebron. He died in 1943. She moved into Hebron that year, and married Gust Lutz in May 1955 in Hebron. Mr. Lutz died in 1971. Since 1979, Mrs. Lutz had lived at St. Luke's Nursing Home in Dickinson.

She is survived by six sons; Edwin, Arnold, Ben and Edmond, all of Hebron, Emil, Medina and Richard, Gladstone; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Schneider, Hebron, and Mrs. Agnes Knittel, Anaheim, Calif.; 40 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Christ, Glen Ullin, and Charles, Laurel, Mont.; and one sister, Mrs. Emil Schneider, Hebron.
