Max Seidl, 73, of 732 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at st. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Seidl was born Jan. 5, 1896, in Bohemia, son of the late Josef and Franziska Schmatz Seidl. He emigrated to the United States in 1912 and located at Maplewood, Door County. In 1916, he came to Manitowoc where Aug. 31, 1929, he married Anna M. Massman. Mr. Seidl worked 30 years for White House Milk Co. Manitowoc, before retiring Jan. 1, 1961. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert of Greendale, William of Kiel and Arthur of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Anna Marin of Maplewood; and a grandson, David. Four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday here at 7 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
