Funeral Service held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church (5218 Bartlett Blvd.) Mound with Rev. Mike Michalk officiating; visitation from 4-7 P.M. Thursday and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday ALL AT THE CHURCH; Chapel Service 6:30 P.M. Thursday evening; interment Union Cemetery Mound.
Dolores was born on April 18, 1928 in Mayer the daughter of Robert C. and Anna C. ( Ziermann) Groenke. She was baptized on May 7, 1928 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer by Rev. F.W. Erthal and confirmed on April 6, 1941 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in New Germany by Rev. Theodore Rolf. On February 11, 1949 Dolores was united in marriage to Elmer F. Beiersdorf at St. Mark Lutheran Church in New Germany by Rev. Fred Pfotenhauer.
Dolores was a spiritual person always attending church services whenever it was possible. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards especially solitaire and listening to music.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Elmer; parents Robert and Anna Groenke; grandson Allen Olexa; brother Alvin Groenke; brother-in-law Kenneth Earhart.
Dolores is survived by her loving family daughters Brenda (Brian) Hentges of Mound, Judy Olexa and special friend Dick Lidbom of Savage; grandsons Ryan Hentges and Bobby Hentges; sisters and brother-in-law Dorothy Earhart of Chanhassen, Marcella and Richard Hall of Minnetonka; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Deanna Groenke of St. Michael, Eugene and Bonnie Groenke of Brainerd, Ronald and Vergeane Groenke of Marco Island, Florida; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
