Nadine R. Habel, 86, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Cambridge Place, Marysville.

A funeral service was at 10 a.m., Monday, September 16 at the First Christian Church, Marysville. Rev. Jerry Zanker officiated. Jane Sedlacek played the organ and sang "How Great Thou Art" and "In The Garden."

Burial was in Marysville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eddie Dixon, Andy Kibble, Josh Winslow, Phillip Fensom, Anthony Winslow and Mike McReynolds.

Nadine was born at Belvue, KS on April 28, 1927 to Albert and Laura (Beasterfelt) Pageler.

Nadine worked in the laundry for the Community Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, enjoyed playing bingo, quilting and doing needlepoint.

Survivors include daughters, Carol (David) Raseta, Barbara ( Steve) Wassenberg, both of Marysville; son, Carl (Mary) Dixon of Blue Rapids; brother, Eugene Pageler of Wamego; nine grandchildren, five step grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; sons, Robert Dixon and Jerry Dixon; and sister, Norma Jean Allen.
