Yvonne Endres Ziegler, age 51, left us all too soon and suddenly on Monday, September 30, 2013.

She was a loving, hard-working wife and mother, who rose at 4 A.M., did farm work, taught pre-school at St. John the Baptist School in Waunakee (for 29 years) and then would travel hours to watch one of her daughters' sporting events before falling into bed and starting all over again. She loved ice cream, the Amish, her newspaper, and adventures on her three-wheeled motorcycle. She never complained and always had time to be a friend to anyone in need.

Yvonne is survived by her best friend and loving husband, of 28 years, Ron, and her beautiful daughters, Crystal, Deanna and Danita. She, the baby sister, was born October 7, 1961, will be sadly missed by her siblings, Eileen (Tom) Waldow of Colorado, Jerry (Linda) Endres of Verona, Bob Endres of Lodi, Del Endres M.D. of New Mexico, Louise (Kelly) Moore of Cedarburg and Bev (Don) Gordon of DeForest.

She is further survived by the Ziegler family, Father-in-law Joe Ziegler of Waunakee, Randy (Dawn) Ziegler of Lodi, Deb (Dean) Ripp of Dane, Rich (Lori) Ziegler and Joe (Heather) Ziegler of Waunakee.

Yvonne had many nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved, and too many friends to name. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Louise Endres, Virg her brother who shared the same birthday and her second mother, Ruth Ziegler.

Funeral services will be held on Friday Oct. 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St John's Catholic Church 209 South St Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Thursday Oct. 3, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

"I have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and that there are as few as there are any other great artists. Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts. Since the medium is the human mind and spirit." - John Steinbeck
