Beulah Watts Whitaker, 82, of West Lafayette, IN, died at 10:30 AM Monday, October 7, 2013, at IU Arnett Hospital. She was born April 5, 1931, in Leatherwood, KY, to the late Squire and Katie Watts. She married Willis Whitaker and he passed away on August 27, 1998. Beulah enjoyed garage sales, quilting and time spent with her family and friends especially her grand children.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald W. Whitaker (wife Kelley) of West Lafayette, Gary Whitaker of Fowler; a sister, Beatrice Whitaker of Hallie, KY; a special caregiver, Dena Becker of Lafayette; grandchildren, Kristie, Dale, Travis, Josh, Jason, Justin and Joey; great-grand children, Austin, Kaitlynn, Whitley, Kaden, Andre, Souly, Harlee, Keegan, Charlise, Taylor, Willow, and Jayce. Beulah was preceded in death by brother Bill Watts and a sister Euly Whitaker.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, October 11, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with the funeral service starting at 1:00 PM Friday, October 11, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastors Jeffrey Fields and Michael Salemink officiating; burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
