John H. M. Lerch, 66, of 1303 Cleveland Ave. NW, who had been a resident of Canton for the past 17 years died in the home Friday from a complication of diseases. At the time of his death, he was connected with the D. W. Lerch company. Mr. Lerch was a member of the Trinity Reformed church and the Odd Fellow lodge of Bethel, PA. He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Annie M. Lerch; two daughters, Mrs. C. M. Abel, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Anna H., of the home; three sons Dr. G. S. Lerch, of Cleveland; H. F. Lerch, 110 9th st. NW and David H., of the home. Also surviving is one brother, D. W. Lerch, of Canton, a sister, Mrs. Ellizabeth Strouse, of Detroit, and four grandchildren.
The body has been taken to the home of his brother, D. W. Lerch, 979 Cleveland Ave. NW, where it may be viewed by friends. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the D. W. Lerch home and at 3 o'clock from Trinity Reformed church, Dr. E. P. Herbruck and Rev. H. N. Kerst will be in charge. Burial will be made in Westlawn cemetery.
