Services for Edward Hillmer, 85, of 614 5th St., Green Rock, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fairman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Hillmer died Friday at Illini Hospital.
He was born in Taylorville. He married Irene Rudd in Canton, S.D. in 1914. She died in 1971.
He was a retired railroad conductor for the Rock Island Lines.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Fred Cutler, Green Rock, and Irene Gerstonkorn, Blue Island, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Inez McCarthy, North Dakota.
