She was born in Hudson July 25. 1887, a daughter of James T. and Nettle Gildersleeve. She was married to Ralph E. Sunkel in 1912. He died in 1941.
Surviving are her father of Deland, Florida; four sons, Morris, Charles and Sterling of Hudson and Forrest of Altadena, California; a brother, Charles Gildersleeve of Hudson; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys Rhoades of Hudson, Mrs. Lucille Gibbons of Waukegan, Mrs. Elsie Gilmore of Aledo, Mrs. Ruth Harkness of Champaign and Mrs. Mar-jorie Marjorie Sleap of Palatka, Florida and six grandchildren. She was a member or the Orderer of Eastern Star and the Hudson Baptist Church.
