Mrs. Suzette "Suzy" Murphy Linder, age 57, wife of Charles Dennis Linder of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, FL.
Mrs. Linder was born in Union, SC December 9, 1955, a daughter of Margaret Murphy Smith of Carlisle and the late Wayne R. Murphy. She was a graduate of Union High School and was a member of the former West Side Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters: Valerie Westbrooks and husband Craig of Pacolet and Kacey Linder of Pensacola, FL; a brother, Jay Murphy and wife Pam of Jonesville; five grandchildren: Tyler, Ashley, Kyle, Kaylen and Reed; a step-daughter, Heather Woods and husband Robbie of Union; a step-son, Chris Linder and wife Susan of Pacolet; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Linder was predeceased by a brother, Michael Murphy.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Ralph Brown and Rev. Roger Estes. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Gem McCutcheon, Corey McCutcheon, Craig Westbrooks, Chris Linder, Randall Morgan and Jim Huffstickler.
Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.
