Wayne Robert Zimdars was born on April 10, 1944 to Herbert and Emgard (Zahn). He grew up on the family farm in the Town of Seneca with his siblings: William, Donald and Lois Graper. Wayne attended grade school in Leopolis and graduated from Marion High in 1962. He died on October 26, 1966, at the age of 22, and was buried in Tilleda, Wisconsin on Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
