Passed away on November 21, 2013. She was born September 6, 1916, in Seneca Falls, NY. She had resided at the National Lutheran Home, Rockville, MD for the last 14 years. She was married to Glenn B. Carow (divorced 1963) and had four children, three of whom pre-deceased her: including Bonnie Lynn LaPlante (Arden), Ronald Douglas Carow and his twin, John Frederic "Ric" (Roberta) Carow. Michael "Jeff" Carow (Shelley) is the lone survivor of her four children. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. at the National Lutheran Home on Wednesday, December 4. Service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Washington, DC. It is requested that instead of flowers contributions be made to the National Cathedral School, Washington, DC or to the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, MD.
