MINSTER WOMAN DIES SOON AFTER HUSBAND

Solemn Requiem High Mass was sung in St. Augustine church Monday morning for Mrs. Josephine Christina Feldman, aged 64 years and seven months, who died last Thursday afternoon in the resident, a half-mile south of Minster, from a heart ailment.

Rev. Otto Mueller was celebrant of the funeral mass. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Death of Mrs. Feldman followed less than three weeks after the passing of her husband, who was stricken while visiting her at the Van Wert county hospital, April 5 and succumbed to a heart ailment. She had apparently been recovering satisfactorily from surgery for removal of eye cataracts.

A lifelong Minster community resident, she was born Sept 6, 1882, to Bernard and Mary (Nagel) Thieman, and married John Feldman June 16, 1903. Surviving are a son, Henry, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Bernadine) Boerger, west of Fort Loramie; two grandchildren, Carl and Joan Boerger; and four brothers, William, Joseph, George and Charles Thieman, all of this community. Mary Hackemoeller of here is a sister-in-law. A sister, Mrs. Cecelia Severin, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Feldman was a member of the St. Monica society of the church, and was president of the group in 1931 and 1932.

Pallbeaers at the funeral Monday were Frank Frierott, Clarence Schoen, Karl Wacker, Herbert and Maurice Sommer, and Henry Buschman.
