PELION – Funeral Services for Adriana L. Brown will be held at King Grove Baptist Church, SC on Friday February 29, 2008 at 2:30 PM with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Pallbearers will be Andy Thimish, Jeff Jackson, Greg Downer, Jody Beasley, Jamie Matthews, Robert Sharpe, Chris Macon, and Terry Taylor.
Mrs. Brown, affectionately known as "Grandma Brown", born April 25, 1937, died February 26, 2008. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucious S. and Martha Flake Light. She was a devoted member of the King Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert (Bobby) Brown, her son, Sanford Brown, her daughter, Karen Lucas Poole, her grandchildren, Beth Beasley, Leigh Macon, Kala Lucas Brown, Kyle Lucas, Sanford Brown Jr., and Kess Lucas, her great grandchildren, Alex, Mitchell, Savannah, Josie, Austin, Mallory, Lane, Trey, Chloe, Stormy, Adriana, and Carolina, her brother, L.S. Light, her sister, Lois Corder, her Daughter at heart, Anastasia Cawrse, her grandchildren at heart, Chris Cawrse, Jeremy Jackson, B.J. Lawless, Lindsey Jackson, Vinson Downer, Patrick Southerland, and Brandi Jeffcoat.
The family would like to thank the staff of Tri-County Hospice for their love and support during the family's time of need.
