Sylvia O'Neal Mros, of Hanahan, SC, entered into eternal rest December 3, 2013.

She was born in Baton Rouge, LA, on November 9, 1922, to the late James B. O'Neal and Mary Y. Kleinpeter.

Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived life to the max and loved to travel. Upon completion of an Associate Degree in Business she worked as a secretary at Louisiana State University. She served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and met her husband on VJ Day in San Francisco. She was retired from the Sixth Naval District, Charleston, SC.

She was a member of Devine Redeemer Catholic Church, Hanahan.

Mrs. Mros is survived by her daughter: Marilyn M. Belotti (Mike, predeceased); two sons, Stanley E. Mros (Lillian), and James M. Mros (Linda); three grandsons, Bryan A. Mros (Carly), Joshua S. Mros (Sara), and Patrick Mros; one granddaughter, Amanda Mros and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. Mros.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, December 4, 2013 at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, North Charleston, with a rosary service to commence at 6:15 PM. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, December 5, 2013, at Devine Redeemer Catholic Church, Hanahan, SC, with interment following in Carolina Memorial Park.
