Funeral services were held at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville on Friday. Burial was in the St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery.
Marina was born on April 12, 1920, in Freeport to Theodore and Theresa Meyer.
She married Peter Bertram on Sept. 25, 1945. Marina and Peter farmed in the Spring Hill area from 1945 to 1972 and then moved to Paynesville.
She worked as a nursing assistant at both the Melrose and Paynesville hospitals and also worked for a time at a local café in Paynesville.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and Christian Women.
Marina is survived by her children, Duane (Irene) of Spring Hill, Danny (Doris) of Richmond, Jerry (Ruth) of Sauk Centre, Harry (Dorie) of Cold Spring, and Deb (Mark) Torborg of Mt. Joy, Pa.; brothers Roman and Rich Meyer; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter; four brothers; and three sisters.
