Magdalena Bellinder, was born Sept. 3, 1880 in Leichtling, Saratof, a German colony in Russia and passed away at her home at 301 poplar street Saturday April 7, at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 4 days.

She grew to young womanhood in Leichtling and was united in marriage to Peter Macht. To his union was born one daughter, Monica.

The little family came to Wamego in 1901. Peter Macht died in 1903 and the daughter, Monica died Apr. 10, 1908.

On February 16, 1904 she was united in marriage to Chris Bellinder and to this union were born five children. Mrs. George A. Bohn of Leavenworth, Joseph Bellinder of Alhambra, Calif., Mrs. Everette Dugan of Wamego, George Bellinder of Wamego, and Mrs. Roy H. Mott of San Francisco, Calif.

She is mourned by her family and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Bernard church. Burial was made in the St. Bernard Cemetery.

Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shank, Crook, Colo.; John Shark, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Peter Gerk and daughter, Judith, Julesburg, Colo., Joseph Macht, Chicago, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Francis Prockish, Manhattan; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Macht, Mrs. Anna Cordts of Westmoreland.

Joseph Bellinder came from Los Angeles, Calif. to attend the funeral services for his mother, Mrs. Chris Bellinder, which was held Tuesday morning. He started by airplane, but was put off delaying him a day.
