Theresa Meyer came to America on September 1, 1857 on the S.S. Reinhard, which departed from Bremen. She was accompanied by her brothers Joseph Meyer (25 Jan 1822- ) and Franz "Anton" Meyer (15 Mar 1823-unk). Another brother Franz Xaver Meyer (20 Sep 1826-unk) also immigrated to America. Bavarian records list her birthdate as August 18, 1831 with her name spelled "Theresia Meyer". Her death certificate gives her date of birth as 4 Sep 1830.
