1805, February 24, Thomas was born in Tweedmouth on the site of the "Harrow Inn."

1835 At age 30, when Elinor Smith Alexander turned 21, married her.

1837, Sept. 27, John Alexander Bryson born.

1838 Supervising the erection of a building in Newcastle, fell from the scaffolding of a building. His vigorous and healthy constitution saved him.

1841, Oct. 4, Georgina named for her Father's father George.

1845, May 10, in Leazes Crescent, Newcastle, birth of Eleanor

1849, Aug. 1, Mary born, named for her Father's mother.

For years he had been rising steadily in public esteem and position.
1854 Named Serveyer and Burough [sic] engineer for Newcastle on Tyne.

In 1867, he had been supervising the burial of cans of nitroglycerin on Town Moor, Newcastle on December 17, was killed by the explosion.
