Marinette County - took and oath that he was born in Germany on or about 1 856, that he emigrated to the United States and landed a the port of New Y ork on or about the month of October 1883. that it is bona fide his inten tion to become a citizen of the United States. Subscribed and sworn Octob er 22, 1886.

For 40 years he operated a transfer and drayline service and for eight yea rs acted as alderman of the Fifth Ward.

Member of the Saengerbund, Mocas Lodge, Knights of Columbus and the Holy N ame Society of the St. Anthony's church.

Pallbearers were Casper Maihofer, F. R. Horak, W. R. Coffey, R. P. Murra y, John Murray and W. E. Clarey.
