Sylvia Stark, age 86 of 101 First Street, Oconto, WI passed away October 17, 2000 at Oconto Memorial Hospital. She was born Novemeber 13, 1913 in Antigo, WI to the late Mike and Anna (Martinek) Svaton.
She was a pediatric nurse in Chicago, IL, where she met and married Bernard Stark in Chicago in December, 1944.
She was an active member of the United Methodist Church and its organizations.
Survivors include her husband Bernard;
a son Peter Stark of Oconto, WI;
a brother Jim (Mary) Svaton of Antigo, WI;
two sisters: Annie Hatton of Antigo, WI and Blanche (Charles) Nelson of Oconto, WI.
She was preceded in death by a sister Mary (Lyle) Ehlers.
Visitation and funeral services held at the United Methodist Church of Oconto with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
