Born Jan 20, 1883 in Bauer, Russia, she and Herman Stieben were married there Oct. 6, 1905. They came to the United States in 1912 and lived at Wheatland Wyo. for a time. Stieben farmed in the Greeley area from 1917 to 1925 when they moved to Portland, Ore. He worked as a cabinet maker in Portland.
The Stiebens returned to Greeley in 1956. She was a member of St. Paul's Congregational church.
Beside her husband, Mrs. Stieben, is survived by the following nieces and nephews, Mrs. Mary Gettman, Mrs. Linda Ulrich, Mrs. Mollie Rossman and Henry Petrie, all of Greeley, Jake and Herman Petrie, Miss Hannah Petrie and Mrs. Ruth Hinton, all of Denver.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from Macys drawing room, with interment at Linn Grove.
