SERVICES HELD FOR MARY LAMBERS, 84

Requiem High Mass was sung in St. Augustine's church Saturday morning by the Rev. Otto Mueller for Mrs. Mary Lambers, aged 84 years and six months, who died shortly after 1 p.m. Dec 24 in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kitzmiller. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lambers, who had been in failing health for 18 months, died of the effects of a broken hip. She incurred the injury in a fall at the Kitzmiller residence Thursday, Dec 19, five days before her death.

A native of Minster, she was born June 28, 1862, the daughter of Clemens and Caroline (Busch) Hinners. She married Edward Lambers in 1881 and he died here in 1916.

Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Emma Kitzmiller; a brother, Joseph Hinners of Dayton; and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Brinkman of Minster. There are nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lambers was a member of the St. Monica sodality of St. Augustine church.
