She was born Oct 4, 1896, in Saratov, Russia, to David and Mary Elizabeth (Dietz) Deines. She came to the United States in 1900 and settled in the Russell area.

She married John George Fabrizius on Dec 26, 1917, in Trego Center. He died Sept 26, 1984.

A recent resident of WaKeeney, she had lived in Minot, ND, and Denver. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Aurora, CO.

Survivors include five sons, Argus, WaKeeney, Arthur, Hutchinson, Paul, Aurora, George, Carson City, Nev, and Richard, Colorado Springs; four daughters, Olga Walker, Minot, Hulda Dorsch, Bird City, Edna Homburg, Ellis, and Lydia Frank, Pueblo, CO; 32 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Herman; five brothers, David, Solomon, Fred, George and Henry; a sister, Lydia Deines; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.

Services were Feb 12 at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Aurora, with Rev Mark Voss officiating; burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Olinger Mortuary, Aurora, was in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the church or the organization of the donor's choice.
