David was a World War II veteran, having served in the US Coast Guard from 1941 – 1944. He was a loyal supporter of veterans' causes.
David loved the outdoors. He took great joy in nature, raising livestock, gardening and cutting wood.
David was predeceased by siblings, Henry Gorr, John Gorr, and Gottfried Gorr Jr., and Amalia Cano.
Arrangements by the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
Burial with military honors will follow in the Warrensburg Cemetery.
