Thurman - David Gorr, 91, a longtime resident on Bowen Hill Road, and formerly of Chicago, Illinois, was reunited with his beloved wife, Ruth (Reinicke) Gorr on June 17, 2008.
Born on December 7, 1916 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Gottfried and Amalia (Pfiefer) Gorr.
David was a World War II veteran, having served in the US Coast Guard from 1941 – 1944. He was a loyal supporter of veterans' causes.
David loved the outdoors. He took great joy in nature, raising livestock, gardening and cutting wood.
David was predeceased by siblings, Henry Gorr, John Gorr, and Gottfried Gorr Jr., and Amalia Cano.

Burial with military honors will follow in the Warrensburg Cemetery.
