Hannah Loeffler Herward, 63, of Lynchburg died Monday August 9, 2010 at her home. She was the loving wife of James Dennis Herward.
Hannah was born April 3, 1947 in Hartford, Conn. a daughter of the late Walter Max Loeffler and Margaret Taylor Loeffler. Hannah was a graduate of Lynchburg College and worked as an administrator for the McGurk House. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, and was a member of Church of the Covenant.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Bryan Herward of Houston, TX, her daughter Megan Delosky and her husband Andrew of Atlanta, GA, one grandson Alex James Delosky, two sisters; Margaret Loeffler of Waldoboro, ME, and Rebecca Runk and her husband Wilbur of Bristol, Conn. and her two four legged companions "Sophie" and "Erika".
A Celebration of Life service for Hannah will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Church of the Covenant..
