Oral family history declared Frances was a beautiful young girl, second child born to her parents Richard W. and Emma (Neisinger) Gully.

She was a cheerful good helper for her mother helping watch and take care of her younger brother Matt.

Frances became ill at age four from a rare form of leg bone cancer. She suffered and died during the summer of 1898.

Following Frances' burial in 1898, an infant brother Alfred was buried the same year and four years later another baby, Jackie, was buried alongside them. One marker with all three children's names exists near the entrance to the cemetery. written by Gregory Dorr
