Funeral Rites Held For John Miller
Funeral services were held Saturday at Theresa for John Miller, 87 year old Theresa resident, who died at his home last Wednesday after a years illness. The Rev. M. Groff conducted the rites at St. Theresa Catholic church, and interment was in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born in town Herman Dec. 3, 1860, and spent all his life in that part of the county. He was married to Tillie Wagner, who preceded him in death in 1903. On Nov. 28, 1907 he was married to Annie Becker, who survives with one grandson, Robert Gorman.
Mr. Miller was the oldest charter member of the Theresa volunteer fire department organized 51 years ago.
