YORK Creighton D. Glusco, Sr., 87, entered into rest Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Rest Haven-York. He was the husband of the late Virginia J. (Mulay) Glusco. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Holy Saviour Cemetery with a Military Flag Folding presentation by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Avenue, is assisting the family. Mr. Glusco was born January 21, 1927, in Dallastown, a son of the late Paul Glusco and Pauline (Eberly) Poff. He was employed at Strickler's Produce, Schaefer Wholesale Flowers, New York Wire Co., and Duplex. He was a 1947 graduate of Red Lion High School and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Creighton is survived by his children, Patricia A. Glusco, Steven P. Glusco, and Terry L. Glusco and his wife Margaret; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a son-in-law, Ray Gardner. He was preceded in death by a son, Creighton Glusco, Jr.; a daughter, Joann Gardner, a brother, Gerald Glusco, and a daughter-in-law, Fran Glusco.
