Funeral services for Frank X. Kraus, 81, Wall Lake, were held Tuesday morning at ten o'clock from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wall Lake with Msgr. J.E. Tolan officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. A Rosary was prayed at Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in Wall Lake Monday evening.

Frank Kraus was born August 22, 1893 in Carroll county, Iowa, the son of John and Catherine Danner Kraus. He died at Loring Hospital Saturday, February 8.

Frank Kraus is survived by two sons: Don Kraus of Elkhart, Indiana; Celestine Kraus of Pocahontas; two daughters: Ceola, Mrs. Harlan Woehl of Sac City and Clyceria, Mrs. Perry Ellis of Sac City; three step grandchildren; seventeen grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and one sister, Bertha, Mrs. Anthon Broich of Carroll.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cecelia, two sons, Richard and Walbert; four brothers: John, Joseph, Fred and Jack; and two sisters, Katie and Rosie.

Casket attendants at the service were Michael Kraus. Gary Kraus, Ray Kraus, Robert Kraus, Jack Ellis and David Kraus.
