Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, December 1st, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sac City with Father Larry McCarty officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 4-8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 30th, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City with family present from 6:00-8:00.

Glyceria "Susie" Rose (Kraus) Ellis, age 73, of Storm Lake, Iowa, formerly of Sac City, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center at Storm Lake, Iowa. Susie was born on May 31, 1933, south of Early, Iowa on the farm, the daughter of Frank and Celia (Drees) Kraus. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Early. She went for further schooling and became a teacher. Susie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sac City.

Susie was married to Percy B. Ellis on November 24, 1954, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Early. To this union three daughters were blessed to her: Cynthia, Sharon, and Peggy. The couple had two more beautiful children from this marriage: Pam and Thomas.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who cherished the time spent with her family. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her five children: Cynthia Foust and husband Mike of Alta, IA; Sharon Hoffman and Jim Huadley of Anaheim, CA; Peggy Ellis and Steve Graff of Cherokee, IA; Pam Bruning of Early, IA; and Thomas F. Ellis and wife Sherise of Storm Lake, IA; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great granddaughters. Other survivors include her brother, Reinold "Ray" Kraus and wife Penny of Elkhart, IN; sister Ceola "Sue" Woehl and husband Harlin of Sac City; sister-in-law Ila Mae Kraus of Pocahontas, IA; extended family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Percy on January 25, 2005; three brothers: Richard, Walbert, and Celestine Kraus; and two grandsons, Michael Foust and Brian Ellis.
