CONTINENTAL, Oct. 1 - Martin Kopp, 78, retired Palmer-tp farmer, died in his home southeast of here following an 18-month illness following a stroke.
A son of Daniel and Christine Kopp, he was born in Germany Nov. 3, 1868, and came to Putnam-co in 1907. He was married Apr. 9, 1901, to Martha Yager, who survives with four children, Mrs. Rose Shoudel, Auburn, Ind.; Mrs. Anna Jonson, Garrett, Ind., and Franklin and Edward Kopp, at home, and one brother, William, Defiance.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Catholic church, Continental. Rev. Sylvester Schnipke, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery, North Creek. The body has been returned to the residence from the Walls funeral home.
