COGGON - Marie Ammeter, 88 widow of Gottlieb Ammeter and a resident of Coggon vicinity 55 years, died Wednesday morning at the home of her son, John, north of Coggon.
Born at Berne [Bern], Switzerland, Dec. 31, 1860, she was married to Mr. Ammeter in 1891. He died several years ago.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Paul Witt and Mrs. Clarence McKeag, both of Manchester, and Mrs. John Rotach of Haven, Kan.; two sons, John of Coggon and Albert of Manchester, and several grandchildren.
Services will be conducted in Peace Lutheran church at Ryan Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Nathaniel Mattheis. Burial will be in Lutheran cemetery near Ryan.
